If I wasn’t a musician, I’d be: Dead or in Management That’s where the real money is LOL
What’s on my MP3 player: About 2,000 of the most diverse songs you could Imagine.
Favorite city to tour in: Right now I would have to say Macomb, IL. We play there four times a year for all the big weekends including Homecoming for W.I.U.
Favorite type of music growing up: I was exposed to everything. From Big Band, Flamenco, Folk, Country, Jazz, and everything in between, My Parents really loved music and my Dad was a guitar player too. I still have his 1937 Gibson what looks like to be the same model as Robert Johnson in my room as we speak.
My greatest love: Music All Kinds After all there are only two kinds really Good and Bad
My hero: My Parents. Growing up I never knew how poor we were and they always told me I could do anything that I wanted as long as I was willing to take the consequences.
What I’m watching: Any concert I can catch. Movies. Memphis Beat. Sons of Anarchy.
What I drive: GMC Vandura 2500 Series with 189,000 road miles on it. Must have been made on a Wednesday in Detroit.
First job: I started playing professionally before I left High School, so I knew what I wanted to do. Worked every job in between gigs just like every musician.
Talent I’d most like to have: I wish God would continue to Bless me with talent he gave me and allow me to continue with it for many more years to come.
Favorite food: Mainly anything Asian and good ‘Que.
My bucket list: Seeing my twins graduate from college. Playing one set with B.B.King. Jamming on the Legendary Rhythm&Blues Cruise.
My motto: “VALOR IS THE CONTEMPT OF DEATH AND PAIN.”
My favorite Greg Bennett guitar model: I currently mostly play an Ultramatic UM-4 and a Royale RL-3, but I own 13 different Samick Guitars. As every musician knows, different projects require different tools.
