If there was only one style that most completely defines the traditional acoustic, it would have bold herring bone trim, slotted square fret markers, and rosewood sides and back. Oh, and don’t forget a solid top with scalloped top braces.
The CAROLINA™ series brings all of these features together in one great sounding package. We used solid cedar for the top of the Carolina because of the warmth and clarity it produces. The harmonics generated by cedar make for that sparkling clarity present in a truly professional guitar. The scalloped top braces free up the top for greater volume and a faster response. To finish off the package, rosewood is used to give the Carolina that punchy low-end response that players expect.
